Summary/Abstract: Thinking that euphemism, as well as the linguistic taboos, belonged only to the world of uncivilized or periods before modern civilization, appears to be acceptable, while we see that, even in today's Europe, the languages of small nations with more development faded, but also in much, euphemistic paraphrase of that aim the avoidance of taboo words are still widely in use. Even, apparently, although being modernized societies of globalization has taken vigorous proportions everywhere, euphemistic circumlocution and mitigating expressions generally go along, so that they can rightly be called "modern taboo". So if until recently was thought euphemism phenomenon, which mainly followed by generations of middle-aged staff, we see that, even in younger generations, there is room for discursive taboo especially for euphemistic paraphrases. As also pointed prof. Shkurtaj, has a fight equilibrium between what is said and not said, that, even in the new generations continues, even though new forms of performances, non-traditional.
