Summary/Abstract: territorial organization of the economy in the context of European integration, provision of tourist-excursionservices, filling the budget of local communities and the modern experience of other European countries.The study is proof of the need to preserve the use of cultural heritage in the recreation and tourism industryin Ukraine and studying the experience of neighboring European countries.The methods that were used in the study. The paper used a set of scientific methods and approaches,including systemic, structural, comparative, factorial methods that allowed to realize objectives of the study.The results of the work. The article analyzes the use of cultural heritage in recreational and tourism activitiesin Ukraine as a source of budget revenues, an important factor of social and economic development of theterritory. Author determined the transition from simple to complicate the protection of monuments andtransformation in measures to detect and study them to full use in the recreational and tourism activities, and fullpreservation for future generations.Range of application results. The practice of recreational activities and tourism areas.Conclusions. The analysis allows the problem mentioned that cultural heritage in Ukraine is not used fully tomeet the excursion and tourism services of domestic and foreign customers, socio-economic development ofthe areas cleared facts of destruction of the integrity of the historical and cultural landscape as a result ofunauthorized construction and reconstruction memory 'out architecture, the looting of archaeological sites andmore. It was found that the financing of innovative development of recreational and tourist activity in Ukraineshould be much source, involving both domestic and foreign capital.
