Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the content of a regional investment policy; mechanisms for its implementation, study and choice of priorities of investment activity in the region; proposed program for the development of an attractive investment climate in the region; reflected directions of improvement of the investment policy in the Republic of Belarus, including the improvement of the forms of attracting foreign capital, tools and mechanisms for increasing investment activity.Objective: To strengthen the regional investment activity by improving the regional investment policy.Methodology: The study is based on a toolkit of general scientific methods of cognition.The results: in the framework of regional policy of the mechanisms of implementation of the regional investment policy, justification and selection of investment priorities in the region; a program for creating a favorable investment climate in the region; suggested ways of improving the investment policy in the Republic of Belarus, including the form of attracting foreign capital.
