Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with using of digital technologies in schools and their opportunities in enhancing social inclusion of pupils from socially excluded communities. The aim is to identify opportunities and potential by using the digital technologies in education of social disadvantaged students, who are performing less well in school than their peers from the majority. Furthermore based on one Slovak elementary school we tried empirically determine how are these technologies perceived among the teachers in school with high number of socially excluded children and what are their digital skills and access to technologies in their school.
