Summary/Abstract: For a long time research teams in universities, non-for-profit sector, public administration institutions and international organisations investigate the topic of social marginalisation and inclusion of Roma children in education. This article maps out 60 relevant research studies published in the period of last five years in Slovakia and abroad, which implicitly or explicitly propose policy measures at state level to secure an effective inclusion of Roma children in education. Based on these studies, in the first part of the article the author describes various forms of exclusion of Roma children in education and points out probable causes of this phenomenon. After that he identifies six most frequently mentioned policy measures at the state level, which are recommended by these studies. In the final part the author briefly contemplates on the possibilities of communicating these policy measures in the environment of widely accepted antigypsyism in Slovakia.
