Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, dentistry is one of the most popular medical professions. Dentistry education is very difficult process which requires not only perfect theoretical knowledge of general medical and dental disciplines but also definite manual abilities as well as imagination and spatial orientation. Currently dentistry education has deal with numerous problems: increasing number of Czech and foreign students, a lack of teachers and practical training emphasis. In addition, the modern students demand to include up-to-date equipment and facilities into educational process as well as to make it more attractive and upgrading. In this article the authors present the conception of current pregradual dental education on Medicine and Dentistry Faculty of Palacký University in the city of Olomouc as well as possible methods of its modernization.
