Summary/Abstract: The newly established competence of the European Union in the field offoreign investment requires substantial reform in the existing Investor-to-State dispute settlement mechanism. The current study aims to clarify the problems that theexisting ISDS mechanisms reveal and to overview the proposal for a new Investment court system as a possible solution.
