Summary/Abstract: The main features of EU law аre derived from the jurisprudence of the Union. The Court of Justice identified the main principles of European construction. This report examines five of them, namely direct effect, primacy of Union law, expanding beyond the competences explicitly regulated in the Treaties constitutional status of European Union law and mutual recognition.
