Summary/Abstract: The archaeological, linguistic, and cultural heritage of the Celtic nations in Ukraine is the object of the attentions of the scientists at the present time. The search of the traces of the Celts in the south of Ukraine, in the Crimea, in the view of the ethnocultural interaction between the Celts and the Germans, requires to take up the Crimean Gothic materials. Some words from the Crimean Gothic language, the separate personal names and place-names of the Crimean Gothia are of Celtic origin. The latest etymological solutions in this sphere are generalized in this article, some Celtic etymologies for the Crimean Gothic linguistic relics are proposed too.
