Summary/Abstract: The last two years have seen a real boom when it comes to discovering the identity of Königsberg in Kaliningrad. There are numerous associations, initiatives, individuals and groups who have set out to follow the trail of the city and the region’s pre-war past, with increased interest in Kaliningrad’s history, memory and local identity.
