Summary/Abstract: This study follows the evolution of intimate relationship between a man and a woman as part of the family, in different ways: husband and wife, son and mother, daughter in law and mother in law, mother in law and son in law, as they are captured in Ion Creanga`s tales. I made general consideration regarding ŖThe little bag with two penniesŗ (Punguța cu doi bani), ŖThe White Moor`s Taleŗ (Povestea lui Harap-Alb), ŖThe stupid Ionicařs Taleŗ (Povestea lui Ionica cel Prost), but mostly I commented ŖSuffered Stanřs Taleŗ (Povestea lui Stan Pățitul), ŖThe Pigřs Taleŗ (Povestea Porcului) and ŖThe Mother in law and her three daughters in lawŗ (Soacra cu trei nurori). I started from the devaluation of the feminine in the Romanian folk mythology to highlight the modern attitude of the writer in the 19th century, regarding the complex of feminine psychology.
