Summary/Abstract: This article aims at revealing author Max Blecherřs personality as friend and confessor as it arises from the letters addressed to Geo Bogza. Embracing Alexandru Sandulescuřs theoretical conception according to which epistles have as a fundamental feature literariness which is artistic aestheticism, Blecherřs letters written between 1934 and 1938 and art bound together by contiguity, and prove the authenticity and the writing talent of the addresser. The analysed epistolary corpus will state both the assumed tragic condition, the literary projects and elective affinities of the person Max Blecher, constituting a real existential file, a psychological diary and an act of creation. Thus, Max Blecherřs correspondence, besides its literary value proves its ideological component in competition with the indisputable poetic valence of the epistolary text.
