Summary/Abstract: Our research study started from the hypothesis that between the concept-terms, the lexeme-terms and the word, under the aspect of expressed substance, there is no fundamental difference, no obvious polarity, but a manifested continuity regarding the meaning of the term-word and the sense of the precise lexeme in the language. Therefore, the possibility, frequently encountered that an ignorant in the medical field would understand, most of the terms, coming from the common language, is not explained, just like we also do not exclude the fact that the reception of the medical message would be completely erroneous in persons with less training in the reference field. Focusing on medical terms in context, we have to admit the existence of specific terms bearing various degrees of specialisation: strict specialty terms, or concept-terms, as reflections of the respective reference concepts in the medical field, and the lexeme-terms, as projections of certain wider-spectre notions, also proper to lexical elements in the common language.
