Summary/Abstract: In folk legend of the history of the interwar period building Curtea de Arges, in its many variants has been the subject of many studies, processing and interpretation of literary, aesthetic and philosophical. Such processing of the legend have taken only in the interwar years Nicolae Iorga (1922), Adrian Maniu (1922), Victor Eftimiu (1925), George Maior (1926), Lucian Blaga (1927), Octavian Goga (1928), Ion Luca (1933 ), Victor Papilian (1934), Vasile Voiculescu (1934), Coca Farago (1940) and others, so that we can even talk about a real "fashion". In connection with the philosophical and aesthetic aspects of the legend, in the same reference period appeared studies of D. Caracostea (Material southeast European and Romanian as Master Manole) and Mircea Eliade (Comments Legend of Master Manole), along with many others . During the interwar period, the folk legend of the building of the Curtea de Arges monastery, in its numerous variants, was the subject of many literary, aesthetic and philosophical studies and interpretations by such authors as Nicolae Iorga (1922), Adrian Maniu (1922), Victor Eftimiu (1925), George Maior (1926), Lucian Blaga (1927), Octavian Goga (1928), Ion Luca (1933 ), Victor Papilian (1934), Vasile Voiculescu (1934), Coca Farago (1940) and others, so that we can even talk of a genuine, fashionable trend. There were other studies published during the same period in connection with the philosophical and aesthetic aspects of the legend, by such authors as D. Caracostea (Southeast European Material and Romanian Form - Mesterul Manole) and Mircea Eliade (Commentaries on the Legend of Mesterul Manole), along with many others .
