Summary/Abstract: Cultural relations between Britain and Yugoslavia in the first years after the WWII were dominated by propaganda. The activities of the Press Office of the Embassy in Belgrade, the BBC radio programe for Yugoslavia and the cultural organization British Council were marked by political questions. The same held true for Yugoslav cultural policy and propaganda, the main feature of which was „anti-imperialism" and "anti-British" tone.
