Serbian Bourgeoisie of Bosnia-Herzegovina Towards the Agreement Cvetković-Maček

Summary/Abstract: Serbian bourgeoisie of Bosnia-Herzegovina headed by their political leaders and prominent personages saw their vital national interest and future only in a community with Serbia. Therefore the agreement Cvetković-Maček was seen as framework in which they could think about their own future only for a very short time. The idea of autonomy for Bosnia-Herzegovina was completely denied and a formation of a Serbian territorial unit was expected. The beginning of the war cut short the expected denouement of this political act.
