Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the outlook of collaboration between the studies of intermediality and theatre science in questioning and analysing certain theatrical works and other cultural phenomena. It also defines specific shifts of theatre ontolog y and epistemolog y related with the increased involvement of modern digital technologies in the practice of contemporary performing arts. By analyzing the problematics of expansion of the New Media to the theatre stage and by focusing on the theatrological discourse on the notions of liveness and mediatisation, the article aspires to discuss the particularity associated with the perceptual transformations of space, time and body in contemporary theatre.
