Long-Term Instruments of the Budget Policy in EU, USA and Japan

Summary/Abstract: The modern budget policy of the industrial countries characterizes in a specific way the complex role of the state in the new socio-economical realities of the 20th century. The study is an attempt to evaluate, summarize and identify the tendencies in the development of the long-term state's budget instruments in the EU, USA, and Japan during the last 40- 50 years. These tendencies are seen as a resource of new knowledge for the role of the state in the changing world.
