Summary/Abstract: Our study focuses on the critical reception of the poetic imagery of Mariana Marin’s poetry. Refering to the theoreticians (Gaston Bachelard, Jean Burgos, Călin Teutișan, Eugen Negrici) we shall explore the structure of the imagery in correlation with the narcissism-erotism corespondence (in its self-directed form). Thus we will create the possibility of analysing some symbols, strains and ideatic contents peculiar to her poetry.
