Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to define the concept of myth, in order to analyse the bound between myths and archetypes, more specific to identify the archetypes which influenced Brancusi in creating the well-known and appreciated Endless Column, which symbolize the infinite sacrifice of the Romanian soldiers, being considered the top point of the modern art.
