Summary/Abstract: The current paper analyses the spatial and temporal configurations in Mircea Nedelciu`s prose. Our objective is to show that there is a postmodern space in Nedelciu`s work, more prevalent than time, as a narrative formula, and that it`s symbolic values – interpreted through recent anthropological and cultural theories concerning the concepts of space, heterotopia and utopia – has major implications in the identity constructions of the characters.
