Summary/Abstract: his essay outlines a profile of Alexander Langer, son and master of the European nonviolent tradition, tireless activist in ecological and intercultural field, member of the European Parliament. He fulfills the nonviolent legacy and translates it into daily political action. Alex is a fine intellectual – with a franciscan education – uses ideas and words not to create new ideas and words, but to change reality, get to act, amend politics, meet and join people, achieve tangible projects. His legacy is one of the most meaningful witnesses of nonviolence persuasion.
