Summary/Abstract: Will humanity survive? Arne Lygre’s Jeg forsvinner. The article is an analysis of a text for theatre by the Norwegian writer Arne Lygre. The analysis focuses on three dramaturgic strategies in the text and how they put into performance the biological and existential conditions of social life in our society today. Important questions the text raises have to do with identity and empathy or compassion and possible consequences of an evolution of consciousness.
