Summary/Abstract: Around 6,000 people travel daily along Macedonia, Serbia and Croatia to illegally cross the Schengen border in hopes of reaching their final destination: Germany. The ongoing migration waves however, have opened old wounds in the countries of the former Yugoslavia and literally have no end in sight.
