Summary/Abstract: Prof. Paul H. Stahl is undoubtedly an eminent personality of European ethnology today and especially of the countries of south-eastern Europe. He has for many years developed intense activity in the field of scientific research and in teaching. This is best illustrated by its long series of publications, in a temporal curve of more than forty years, either as separate works or as studies published in the scientific press of several European countries ( Romania, France, Spain, Portugal, Holland, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece etc., USA) but also by its active participation in scientific life through press releases , Symposiums, meetings and in international and regional conferences.
