Summary/Abstract: In this paper author analyses the use and the distribution of the verbs be and have in Slovene which function as markers of possessivity and aspectuality. In the first part of this paper, author shows that Slovene belongs to the language group have. Analysing inversed sentences in comparison with other West- and South Slavic languages, author concludes that Slovene as a have language takes a transitional position from be language to have language. In our second part, author characterises so-called possessive perfect with the verb have and passive particle. Comparing the situation in Slovene with that of other Slavic languages, author comes to the conclusion that this category is growing in Slovene, but it has not grammaticalised yet. Technical note: In the text of the article there is a spelling mistake in the word "imeti" which is a part of the title. It is written as "imati". The correct title of the article sounds "От посeссивности до аспeктуальности: дистрибуция глаголов imeti и biti в словeнском языкe (в типологичeском освeщeнии)".
