Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to highlight the inventiveness of Starčevo-Criş I culture Prehistoric communities that allowed them, through a multitude of processing methods on Ovis aries/ Capra hircus bones, to create the same typological categories. The chosen example is all the more interesting when we analyze the constraints imposed by this raw material that are strongly conditioned by its anatomical form. Thus we identified several transforming schemes: extraction, bipartition by double grooving, bipartition by shaping, sectioning and direct shaping, and creating finished objects including different types of points next to a handle and an abraded astragalus.
