Summary/Abstract: The study takes into account the Romanian prose during communist censorship, when the entire literary phenomenon is submitted to an ample metamorphosis, with long term consequences. Therefore, the propaganda, the censorship, the fear, all kinds of forbiddances and compromises draw the bizarre scenery of the literature in the communist dictatorship period in a vestigiary shape, which results in stereotype texts, emptied of artistic essence, repeating only formulas of praise and gratitude, addressed to the party or to the leader. The information which will prevail will be the one regarding the evolution of prose, the narrative techniques used by writers, following its transformation through a sinuous course. During the approach we will bring up the acknowledged studies regarding this issue, but also recent studies, following in a critical vision the tone of speeches. Also, we will mention works and writers who assured the spontaneous of the creation by their tendency of innovating, of escaping the realist socialist pattern, by drilling, through modern narrative techniques real’s capacity of being transfigured, in narrative speeches with reflexive, playful or even ironic accents.
