Summary/Abstract: Human capital is a kind of vital element for each company. In order to take advantage of their potential, organizations are constantly searching, selecting and finally employ the most talented people. It is obvious that talents in the company increase its productivity. However, like all workers, talented people leave jobs as well, motivated by different factors. The priority of any good manager should be wise talent management, so the most valued performers do not leave.Following article describes talent’s issue, analyzed studies that reflect the scale of the fluctuation’s problem in Poland, and check number of reasons why people leave their jobs. The last part contains of eight practices that can help managers in retaining most highly valued talents.
