Investments in innovations as an important factor in the development of dairy cooperatives

Summary/Abstract: The elaboration presents opinions of dairy cooperatives about the influence of investments in innovations on their development. In most of the dairy cooperatives product and process innovations were introduced. The main incentive for innovative changes were suggestions made by customers, but most of all the development of enterprises. The main objectives to introduce changes were improving the quality of manufactured products, entering new markets and increase in production capacity of cooperatives. The legitimacy of innovations has been confirmed by opinions of customers who considered them to be necessary, they often seek them and purchase on the market.
