The Influence of Social Environment on Children’s Clothing

Summary/Abstract: One of the most important factors concerning the choice of children’s clothing in our time becomes the multiple social environment. It influences the formation of children’s taste, its way of life and its fashion style. The younger children are totally dependent on the choice ability of their parents who, on their part, choose their children’s dress according to their social environment and way of life. From very early age on the children are being influenced by the heroes of the animated movies and the computer games, which pours over them from all sides thus taking influence over their appearance. The city culture, imposed as a kind of lifestyle by the fashion magazines, promoted through the film industry, the creation of style icons even by the films on Disney Channel also influences the children’s way of dressing. It becomes more and more important even from the very early age to be dressed the way to be accepted by the children of the same age. From this point of view the culture of the modern dressing style plays a key role about the ability of social interaction of a modern person in order to be integrated among other people and groups of people of a different way of life.
