Summary/Abstract: The study of the mineral, either seen as raw material or architectural from, leads to the combined use of sciences such as geography, geology, archeology, architecture, which exploit and highlight its material potential. Since the mineral permeates the literary space and challenges the spirit, the tendency is to link it with negative connotations, especially when compared to the other kingdoms. However, through the ambivalence that characterizes it, the mineral allows for the passage from disenchantment, seemingly without end, to the promise of serenity. Connected to a movement of returning to the sensible, embracing the mineral enhances the strengthening of the subject, after having contributed to its weakening, guiding the being in overcoming the tragic consciousness and reaching a cosmic consciousness, through the intimate contact with the visible and invisible forces of the universe.
