Summary/Abstract: This study aims to give an empirical overview of the contribution of military members and the public in the process of creating transparent security policy in the Republic of Poland. A qualitative-quantitative approach will be used from analyses of academic publications and scientific papers, as well as answers from interviews with military experts about Polish security policies and statistical analyses from the interview data. The aim of this study is to correlate the contribution of military members and the public in the process of creating transparent security policy. This article can also be seen as a comparative study due to the transparent security policy focuses on one NATO member – the Republic of Poland. The conclusions of this study take into account opinions and views of military members in the process of creating and updating national security strategy and policy by the officials in the Republic of Poland.
