Summary/Abstract: The occupational disease is an affection whose specific etiological agents (physical, chemical or biological adverse factors) exist at the work place and are associated with certain industrial operations or with exercising certain professions or crafts. The prevention of the occurrence of occupational diseases is made by applying some technical, organizational and sanitary methods that ensure the avoidance or diminution of the action of the risk factors on the human body.This material treats thenotion of occupational disease, its judicial framing, classification and record; also there will be approached aspects regarding the activity and methods of avoiding occupational diseases
