The benefits of choice in the form of social and health security of farmers whose run non-agricultural businesses

Summary/Abstract: The elaboration presents the comparison of different options to choose the form of insurance in the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund (ASIF) or in the Social Insurance Institution (SII) for farmers whose run non-agricultural businesses. The selected farmer entrepreneurs demonstrated financial benefits they can get insured in connection with the selection of the proper way of insurance. The optimal way of being insured is an individual matter for each farmer. The elaboration presents the views of 50 farmers from the Podlasie Province on the experience gained from conducting economic activity. The most of farmers entrepreneurs chose ASIF insurance. The farmers often have limited the scale of their non-agricultural activities, in order no to exceed the threshold amount of income tax payable, empowering you to remain in agricultural insurance.
