Action into change, power into resistance

Summary/Abstract: The author’s considerations have been inspired by the work of Maria Czerepaniak-Walczak (Między dostosowaniem a zmianą. Elementy edukacyjnej teorii emancypacji [Between Adaptation and Change. Elements of the Educational Emancipation Theory]), and Jürgen Habermas (The Theory of Communicative Action) and deal with the mechanisms of structural change as they are performed within the lifeworld based on the logic of the world imaginings transformation (the cognitive-moral development of an individual and society). The article aims at justifying the thesis that the nature of power and the resulting resistance are part of the system of social action determining the change in the public sphere.
