Summary/Abstract: The ESP teacher cannot neglect such wonderful resources as the Internet provides for so many specialized fields. There are endless opportunities to make the most from these electronic means and devices, starting with the common use of the search engines to reach anenormous number of authentic texts, either written or spoken, belonging to a variety of professional genres, audio-video materials, and continuing with accessing the whole web of knowledge, for the benefit of the teacher both as a researcher of the field of ESP, and as a methodologist who guides the students within the WWW labyrinth towards achieving their own purposes, academic at first, then professional.Teaching and practicing the basic abilities in specialized communication (reading, listening, speaking, and writing) can be successfully upgraded by including the different CMC instruments in higher education, during classes or as independent assignments for students. The present paper shares some results of such experiences in teaching and learning English for Art.
