The Copy of the Service for Cyril in Manuscript No. 164 in the Collection of A. I. Khludov in the State History Museum in Moscow

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the peculiarities of a known since long but unpublished and little used copy of the Service for Cyril in a manuscript of the 14th с Its comparison with the other copies of the work shows that in certain cases it preserves forms and meaning close to the basic text and in other changes and gives new meaning to phrases left vague in other copies. The textological and linguistic peculiarities of the copy, its musical structure and its connection with the other South-Slavonic copies are emphasized. Finally the text of the work is published.
