Summary/Abstract: Frequent changes of Polish political party system can be explained by various aspects of Polish social structure, legal attitudes and historical experiences in which the present paper focuses in. Such similar aspects exist in all the world, everywhere intensing political party system in practice. Their action, however, does not take automatically. A key factor is needed, the basic dynamical and most unforeseeable, functioning as a kind of catalyst of all “chemical reactions” impacting certain political social energy which is able to create or to abolish political parties, party systems and political systems. This element is a human being or, in particular, its specific form which is a politician. A contemporary politician is neither an ancient Roman Cincinnatus anymore, nor a Polish noble-citizen in the 16 century, as it was written by Nicolas Rey of Naglowice, who, day by day, takes up th his private affairs and, in a need, get into public matters. A contemporary politician is a professional who, even if he was able to do something useful, he is a life-time activist who cannot live without politics because he lives precisely from it. Politics became his element, completing his internal world of impressions, stimulated by permanent electional campaign verified by results of electional surveys creating social awareness. Fight for power and influences result, in this case, format of his ego. It is difficult to leave this world of a certain gambling, although such cases do happen. Therefore, fight for power implicts more from a certain kind of addiction, than from a real neccessity of reaching instruments for needed social activities, it is itself reflecting thedriving force behind political changes. Contemporary political activity, if it is to be effective, definitely leeds through various political splits, intrygues, confidential undying agreements, which are to be as confidential as undying soon. The law of Polish astronomer and economist, Nicolaus Copernicus about a bad currency which drives a good one concerns economy as well as political behaviour. And the ambition of certain politicians makes them metodically and with no sense to be on their way up, not seeing that in a summit of career there may wait a precipice of a total embarrassment.
