Summary/Abstract: Early on the morning of 15 August 1952, two trucks pulled into the courtyard of the Nemocnice Pod etřínem hospital in Prague to remove the property of the Charitable Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo, who had shortly before been discharged from their duties there. The sisters were ready and waiting, including the old and the sick, who were taken by bus to hospitals and charitable institutions outside Prague. Under supervision, the younger nuns got onto another bus, which carried them and their personal belongings, quilts and mattresses to Trutnov, where they were to begin their work re-education.
