LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATION FOR PRESHCOOL CHILDREN

Summary/Abstract: The receptiveness to the grammatical structure of the Romanian language is a characteristic feature of the preschooler, although the language is not regarded as an object of study. One of the most important factors in the communication process is the ongoing contact with adults, both at home and during all the activities in kindergarten. This paper stresses the modality through which the preschooler reinforces the grammatical structure and learns to communicate properly, but gradually. The purpose of the paper is to demonstrate that the excessive generalization leads to mistakes in preschoolers’ speech.
