The concept of death in Olga Tokarczuk’s and Dmitri Lipskerov’s novels

Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the concept of death in the prose of contemporary Polish and Russian novelists Olga Tokarczuk and Dmitri Lipskerov. Semantical structure of this concept includes both objective senses (like the act of dying, termination of life) and individual imaginations of the authors (the spatial and temporary characteristics, perceptive senses).
