Summary/Abstract: Multidimensional inferiority of women belonging to one of the “sensitive groups” is inflicted by men, as a consequence of intertwining gender based discrimination with other marginal personal traits, often affecting women with disability. The presence of multidimensional inferiority of women with disability is clearly seen in the fact that in every field of social life, the participation of these women is smaller compared to women of general population and/or men with disability. Furthermore, women who belong to this social group are more frequently exposed to some form of violent behavior, such as economic violence or exclusion from women without a disability. This work represents a detailed description of the status of women with disability, with the aim of proving the existence of multidimensional inferiority phenomenon which is a consequence of intertwining social gender roles’ constructions with prejudice towards people with disability. It also suggests ways of suppressing this phenomenon.
