PROCESSING ARCHIVAL RECORDS OF DISARRAYED FUNDS

Summary/Abstract: Expert processing of archival funds, which were taken in the archives in disorderly state, forces an archivist to adjust to the situation. The times when the descriptions of material by the technical units would be sufficient to archivists, and users, are gone. We try to have archival materials listed and are available to the user quality lists from which to obtain the first information about the material, that archives are kept. Listing of the levels is required, at least in the field of business (economic) funds, new approaches and resourcefulness. According to the experience of the physical editing of archives, thus re-establishing physical (original) planning of archives, possible only in cases where the fund taken over material does not include more than 50 archival boxes of materials. This is certainly depending on the space available in which archivist physically regulating material. Our warehouses are too small and crowded for such a job, offices are too small for sorting materials by categories. The virtual establishment (original) of plan is an ideal solution for cataloging large unregulated funds, which guarantee a successful review of the list of archives, which is meaningfully regulated. Users “see” this dispersed material as proccessed one.
