Summary/Abstract: The tomb of the thracian King Seuthes III - a monumental arhitectural construction in Golyama Kosmatka tumulus, located in the Valley of the Tracian Kings - was discovered for Bulgaria and the world in 2004 by a team directed by dr. Georgi Kitov. This study gives proofs that the construction was built in an already finished tumular embankment and was first used as a mystery hall prior to be turned into Odryssian dynasty family tomb where the King Seuthes III was buried symbolically in early 3rd c.BC.
