Summary/Abstract: Karl Popper regarded the problem of induction and the problem of demarcation as the two fundamental problems of epistemology. He claimed that he had solved both of these problems and that his solutions to them were related to each other. But few philosophers, as Popper himself acknowledged, think that he has solved the problem of induction. The purpose of this paper is to explain these problems and Poper’s solution to them in a way that avoids these confusions.
