Summary/Abstract: The Euromaidan protest in Ukraine is significantly different than that of the Orange Revolution in 2004. Unlike in 2004, the 2013 protesters do not rely on opposition funding and organisation. To most of the protesters, the only acceptable outcome would be a complete replacement of the political elites.
