THE FIRST NAME OF BOSNIAKS’ ORAL LITERARY HERITAGE 70 YEARS SINCE THE BIRTH OF PROF. DR MUNIB MAGLAJLIĆ

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with presentation of Maglajlić’s contribution to the study of the Bosniak oral lyrical song, as well as the fundamental principles of mentoring as professor’s academic tasks. Maglajlić’s contribution is reflected in the extraordinary contextualizing of historical events that are remembered in different variants of sevdalinka as well as in remarkably anthologies of this oral literary lyrical poetic embodiment. While doing so, in the framework of his work, special attention is drawn to works about other literary critics and historians of oral literature.
