Summary/Abstract: This article concerns the adaptation of a research tool – The Quality of Relationships Inventory (QRI) intended for measuring the quality of partners’ relationship – to Polish conditions. It presents the psychometric indicators of this tool – the factor structure, reliability, validity and time stability. The study involved 286 people aged 16 to 40 years. The selection of the respondents in the sample was purposeful – the criterion required being in a relationship and in the period of early adulthood. The conducted analysis confirmed the factor structure of the original version of the QRI, the satisfactory reliability, validity and stability of time. The tool possesses satisfactory psychometric indicators. It can be used in research assessing family relationships.
