Summary/Abstract: Over the last 20 years in Poland, a new type of creation, distribution and perception of information has been shaped. Along with the transition of communication into the world of new media, this process continues to strengthen. Research shows that Poles trust their peers in their social networks and the opinions of “people like me”, more than the opinions of professionals with scientific achievements.
